ApexOne Project

Research and investment for livable mountain communities

ApexOne Grant recipient, Natalie Spencer, is researching best practices that solve core challenges facing workers and local community members in "geo-fenced" communities or mountain towns that are hard to access, but have become havens for second home owners.  The outcome will be an Index of housing, food security, and onsite energy production projects effectiveness and will serve as a tool for impact investors and social entrepreneurs.  We hope to also offer these best practices to inform the development of our own "geo-fenced" town on Powder Mountain!
